Having lived in England for over 12 months, I have experienced all of the seasons. Pictured below is a painting representing England’s landscape during summer time when the foliage is in full bloom and the fields take on a golden green colour. This is the time of year most people look forward to.

The documentary filmography titled “The Next Stop” was shot in the Berkshire County, west of London. It shows views of the changing seasons through a train window.

It begins with an urban scene during winter when it’s cold, dark and wet. This is when the sun rises at 7:00am and sets at 4:30pm. It ends with a country scene during the height of summer when there is 18 hours of daylight; the sun rises at 4:00am and sets at 10:00pm.

The background music is the 1997 ballad Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve and The Beatles’ 1968 song Blackbird by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Louis Clark in 1999.
